GAC Launches in Israel, Multi-Channel Network Debuts for a Key Milestone in GAC’s Overseas Strategy

On September 3, 2025, GAC, in partnership with UNION GROUP, hosted the "AION Home" themed event at Ronit estate in Israel to officially announce GAC's entry into the Israeli market. Zhang Lei, General Manager Assistant and Executive Vice President of the European Regional Center of GAC INTERNATIONAL, Ran Danai, CEO of Union Group and Chairman of Orion Mobility, Elad Goldfarb, General Manager of Orion Mobility, media representatives, and many potential consumers attended the event to witness another key milestone in GAC’s overseas strategy.

To showcase the distinctive charm of AION to Israeli consumers, GAC meticulously designed a multi-level showroom and experience space for "AION Home", breaking away from the traditional exhibition model and creating a living space that integrates "family room, library, living room, and kitchen".

 

Family Room: Featuring the AION V model, highlighting its 510KM ultra-long range and spaciousness, perfectly meeting the needs of family travel.

 

Library: A “bookshelf-style” interactive wall that intuitively displays core technologies such as range and intelligent driving, conveying the brand’s “craftsmanship spirit”.

 

Living Room: As the core interactive area of the event, it builds a bridge for communication between the brand and consumers, extending the experience from products to lifestyle resonance.

During the event, Zhang Lei delivered a speech, stating, "Israel is a key part of GAC’s overseas market strategy. The active tech ecosystem and open market environment here align perfectly with GAC’s technological advantages in new energy and intelligent connectivity. GAC’s return to Israel brings the AION V, AION Y, and HYPTEC HT models, and in the future, we will introduce more BEV and PHEV models. Together with Orion, we will establish 5 sales outlets by the end of the year, providing local consumers with an intelligent and eco-friendly travel experience under the ‘service-first’ philosophy".

As GAC announced its entry into the Israeli market, the construction of the sales channel network progressed simultaneously. The first-three channel networks were officially established during the launch period, covering key areas in Israel to precisely meet the needs of consumers in different regions, including central and northern areas.

 

These channels will embody GAC’s “In local, for local” brand philosophy, supported by professional service teams to provide customers with a full-cycle service from car selection and purchase to after-sales. AION Y (Compact SUV): WLTP range of 410 km, equipped with a 360-degree surround camera and intelligent driving assistance system, while offering spacious interior space, balancing practicality and technology.

 

In terms of core technology and safety, AION models are equipped with advanced LFP (lithium iron phosphate) battery technology, providing efficient charging management and precise temperature control to ensure long-lasting durability and safety. All models come standard with intelligent driving assistance systems, including automatic emergency braking, lane-keeping assist, cruise control, and more, ensuring driving safety. Furthermore, AION offers the industry's longest 8-year warranty, covering both the vehicle and battery, reflecting its confidence in product quality and safeguarding consumer rights.
