GAC INTERNATIONAL's New Showroom in Iraq Grandly Opens, GS8 Traveler Edition Leads the Launch of Multiple Flagship Models

On the evening of June 3rd, GAC held a grand opening ceremony for its new brand showroom in Erbil, Iraq, and officially launched the EMPOW 2.0T, GS8 Traveller, and GS8 Hybrid Edition. The event was star-studded, attracting more than 150 guests, including representatives from the Consulate General of China in Erbil, renowned local singers, media, and industry guests, who witnessed this important milestone for GAC in Iraq.

The atmosphere at the event was lively, with guest registration, cocktail reception, welcoming music, and traditional Kurdish dance, fully showcasing the "customer-centric" service philosophy of GAC. 

At the opening ceremony, Mr. Zou Demin, Consul of the Consulate General of China in Erbil, Mr. Zhang Yongming, General Manager of GAC INTERNATIONAL Middle East, and Mr. Wisam, General Manager of Al-Qudra Alarabia, delivered speeches.

In his speech, Mr. Zou Demin highlighted the longstanding friendly relationship of mutual trust and win-win cooperation between China and Iraq, with deepening exchanges in various fields. In recent years, the influence of Chinese automotive brands in the Middle East has been growing, and export volumes have continued to rise, making positive contributions to regional economic development and China-Iraq economic and trade cooperation. He believed that the opening of the new showroom and the launch of new models not only demonstrate the strength of Chinese manufacturing, but also provide Iraqi consumers with more high-quality choices.

Mr. Zhang Yongming said: “The Middle East has always been a key region for GAC’s global strategy. In his speech, Mr. Wisam said it was a great honor to join hands with GAC and witness the grand opening of the new showroom.
