Over the past decade, Chinese automotive brands have successfully won the favor of Chilean consumers with advanced technology and excellent cost-effectiveness. From January 2024 to May 2025, 42% of the 158 certified electric vehicle models in Chile will come from China; in the market for zero-emission or low-emission vehicles, Chinese brands account for 35%. These two sets of data fully demonstrate the competitive edge of Chinese automobiles.
GAC’s Strength: Helping Chile Achieve a New Chapter in Green Mobility
As a backbone of China’s automotive industry, GAC has always adhered to the development concept of “Innovation, Intelligence and Green.” This time, GAC brought several new energy vehicle models that meet the demands of the Chilean market. With exceptional endurance, leading intelligent connectivity technology, and outstanding safety performance, these models won widespread attention from the guests at the exhibition.

GAC deeply agrees that electrification is not only an environmental choice but also provides users with lower operational costs and more convenient experiences. Currently, Chile has over 1,260 charging facilities, and the charging network continues to expand, providing a solid foundation for the popularization of new energy vehicles. With ultra-long endurance and the local charging infrastructure, GAC models are fully capable of meeting the daily travel needs of Chilean consumers.
