On August 9th, GAC held a launch event in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, officially announcing that renowned Malaysian actor Datuk Remy Ishak has become GAC brand ambassador. He will join Jack Lim in representing the GAC brand. Distinguished guests including Cao Shaoping, General Manager of GAC INTERNATIONAL Malaysia, and Tan Keng Meng, dealer representative, attended the event. This marks a crucial step forward in GAC's localization efforts in Malaysia, ushering in a new phase of deep, meticulous engagement with the local market.
Moving Forward Hand in Hand: Jack Lim Shares GAC's Story
At the event, dealer representative Tan Keng Meng expressed sincere gratitude for the contributions of Jack Lim, Malaysia's first brand ambassador. He mentioned that in the early stages of GAC's development in Malaysia, Jack Lim played a key role in helping the brand reach new audiences – from leveraging his personal network to promote and sell vehicles, to sharing his firsthand experience of driving the EMZOOM. He is not only a brand ambassador but also a sincere brand advocate. "Jack has been a strong supporter of the GAC brand, introducing our GAC vehicles to his community and sharing his real-life experiences with GAC vehicles especially the EMZOOM GS3, from its key features of fuel efficiency and spacious interior to its advanced technology. Subsequently, Jack Lim shared the details of his journey with GAC over the past year. He excitedly recalled his experience of visiting Guangzhou: at the GAC factory, the high-tech production scenes surprised him a lot, and the experience of unmanned driving technology left a deeper impression on him. Walking on the streets of Guangzhou, he proudly found that at least five out of every ten cars were GAC vehicles, which made him deeply feel the brand strength of GAC. It is these real experiences that make him full of confidence in the brand he endorses and more willing to recommend GAC models to people around him.

Remy Ishak, who joins GAC's team of brand ambassadors this time, is a well-known and versatile actor in Malaysia. He rose to fame with his wonderful performance in the popular TV series Nurkasih, and is renowned nationwide for his strong public influence and charming personality. As the newly joined brand ambassador, Remy Ishak shared his unique insights into GAC at the event. With the EMKOO and M8 PHEV being successively introduced into the Malaysian market, GAC's product lineup in Malaysia will continue to enrich.
