As a representative of "China’s Intelligent Manufacturing" from Guangdong, China, GAC highlighted its strong strength through a four-dimensional presentation of "Products + Technology + Ecosystem + Supply Chain", not only shared its development practices in the NEV sector, but also committed to jointly promoting the innovative upgrading and green development of Vietnam's automotive industry.
Multi-Dimensional Presentation: Dual Drive of Products and Technology, Demonstrating "GAC Strength"
At this China-Vietnam cooperation promotion conference, GAC created a three-dimensional exhibition space featuring "Products + Technology". GAC not only brought two flagship products, the GAC M8 and GS8, which have already entered the Vietnamese market, but also exhibited two strategic models equipped with GAC's cutting-edge technology, the AION V and AION UT.

In addition to complete vehicles, GAC also showcased introductions to core "three-electric" components (battery, motor, and electronic control) and charging pile technologies, clearly demonstrating its complete independent capabilities "from whole vehicles to industrial chain". Among them, technologies such as the 12-in-1 high-performance integrated electric drive technology cluster and high-efficiency full-domain electronic control system are highly aligned with Vietnam's demand for upgrading its local NEV parts and components industry. This not only lays a foundation for subsequent China-Vietnam supply chain collaboration, but also responds to the core theme of "green supply chain" of this promotion conference.

Vietnam Path under "ONE GAC 2.0": Simultaneous Advancement of "Products + Channels + Ecosystem"
At the promotion conference, Wang Shunsheng, on behalf of GAC Group, delivered a keynote presentation titled "Deepening Strategic Collaboration, Co-creating a Sustainable Future". He not only presented the phased achievements of GAC's global layout but also outlined the specific plan for deepening its presence in the Vietnamese market under the "ONE GAC 2.0" global strategy, conveying GAC's development concept of "In Local,For Local,Integrate into Local,Serve for Local, Contribute to Local".

The Asia-Pacific region serves as the core market for GAC's global strategy and is experiencing rapid growth: As of September 2025, GAC has expanded into 18 countries and regions in the Asia-Pacific, establishing 200 sales and service outlets. During this period, wholesale volume and retail sales increased by 64% and 198% year-on-year, respectively. The company has achieved remarkable performance in multiple markets, including Thailand (ranking among the top 3 in the EV market), Indonesia (ranking among the top 2 in the EV market), Hong Kong (ranking 2nd in the private EV segment), Singapore (ranking 2nd among Chinese brands), and Cambodia (ranking 1st among Chinese brands). Additionally, GAC has partnered with local mobility companies to integrate new energy vehicles into ride-hailing fleets across six ASEAN countries, accelerating the adoption of green mobility.
With the accelerated implementation of the "ONE GAC 2.0" strategy, GAC had a clear development path for Vietnam:
Product Dimension: Following the launch of the GAC GS8, M8, and M6 Pro in the Vietnamese market in 2024, plug-in hybrid models such as the E9 and S7 will be introduced recently, covering the high-end MPV, SUV, and mainstream NEV market segment.
Channel Dimension: The number of sales outlets in Vietnam will reach 15 by the end of 2025 and double to 30 by the end of 2026, achieving full coverage of core regions to ensure convenient car purchase and use for users.
Joint Ecosystem Development: Leveraging the four KD-produced models—AION V, AION UT, EMKOO, and EMZOOM—in Thailand, Indonesia, and Malaysia, GAC will provide Vietnam with nearby supply chain support to reduce costs and shorten delivery cycles. Simultaneously, the company plans to collaborate with local mobility platforms and energy enterprises to explore green mobility models and assess the feasibility of localized KD production, demonstrating its commitment to the "Localized Initiative".
Following the promotion conference, GAC Group also participated in the China(Guangdong)-Vietnam Economic Cooperation Conference and signed a mobility cooperation agreement with TCSV. Both parties will use this as a new starting point to explore more collaboration opportunities in Vietnam's mobility market, delivering greener, smarter, and better mobility experiences to local consumers.

From strategic sharing to product display, and from technological exchange to ecosystem co-construction, GAC has taken this China-Vietnam cooperation promotion conference as an important opportunity to integrate the vision of "green mobility" into the progress for deepening its presence in the Vietnamese market. In the future, GAC will continue to empower ASEAN region development through "Technology Globalization, Ecosystem Globalization", injecting new vitality into the bilateral economic and trade cooperation between Guangdong and Vietnam.
