GAC was Awarded the Industry's First Vehicle Data Security Management System Certification
With the rapid development of intelligence and connectivity in the automotive industry, data security has become crucial for protecting user privacy, safeguarding public safety, and even national security. On December 24th, GAC gained authoritative recognition again in the field of vehicle data security by successfully obtaining the industry's first Vehicle Data Security Management System Certification (Certificate No.: 03225DS00001). This milestone signifies that GAC is at the forefront of systematic data security development in the industry, establishing a new benchmark for automotive data governance in the era of intelligent connectivity.
01. Data Security: The Cornerstone of Intelligent Vehicle Development
In recent years, the Chinese government has attached great importance to data security and personal information protection, successively issuing laws such as the Data Security Law of the People's Republic of China and the Personal Information Protection Law of the People's Republic of China. For the automotive sector specifically, policies including the Measures for the Administration of Automobile Data Security (Trial) and the Circular on Strengthening Cybersecurity and Data Security in the Internet of Vehicles have been promulgated, promoting the formation of a core standard system comprising GB 44495-2024 Technical Requirements for Vehicle Cybersecurity and GB/T 44464-2024 General Requirements of Vehicle Data.

This certification, conducted in accordance with the national standard GB/T 44464-2024 General Requirements of Vehicle Data, represents a comprehensive and systematic assessment of an enterprise’s data security management capabilities. Through solid layout in organizational structure, institutional processes, technical protection, and industrial chain collaboration, GAC successfully passed the evaluation, becoming the first automotive enterprise in China to receive this certification.
It's also worth noting that GAC HYPTEC HL and All-New S7 have recently passed national-level data security compliance tests with outstanding performance in five key compliance requirements: Anonymization of facial information outside vehicles, in-cabin data processing, default non-collection of cockpit data, explicit notification for personal information processing, and appropriate precision scope application. These solid technical practices have validated the effectiveness of the management system.
