Multiple GAC manufacturing bases across the world connected live to the event. The GAC Honda P7, GAC Toyota BZ7, AISTALAND GT7, AION N60 and HYPTEC S600 rolled off the production line in sequence as the 29,999,995th to 29,999,999th vehicles. Finally, the right-hand-drive GAC M8 PHEV (named GN8 overseas) took the stage as the 30 millionth vehicle. The collective debut of this full lineup of new energy vehicles offered an intuitive display of GAC’s all-out push for electrification and intelligent upgrading.
Afterwards, Feng Xingya then handed the key to the 30-millionth vehicle over to Thai vehicle owner Mr. Tony Jaa. As a world-famous action superstar, Tony Jaa has appeared in a series of action movies that have been hugely popular across the world. In Thailand, he is a beloved household name and widely regarded as a true "cultural symbol" of the country. This moment captures more than just a numerical milestone; it is a heartwarming testament to the mutual dedication between GAC and its global customers.

Dr. Yahya Al Jasmi, a Middle East vehicle owner representative from the United Arab Emirates, also attended and shared his story with the M8. In 2025, GAC exported over 130,000 vehicles, a year-on-year increase of over 47%, ranking among China’s top eight self-owned brands by export volume. In the first half of 2026, cumulative exports exceeded 120,000 units, jumping 132% year-on-year. Total cumulative overseas shipments have surpassed 540,000 vehicles to date, continuously lifting GAC’s global brand influence.

In the Asia-Pacific region, GAC secured the top spot in private electric vehicle sales in Hong Kong, China in April, capturing a market share exceeding 11% between January and May. In Thailand, its June sales jumped 207% month-on-month, and it retains the leading market share in the electric taxi segment. In the Americas, both the AION ES and AION UT ranked among Mexico’s top 10 best-selling battery electric vehicles, while GAC has remained the top-selling Chinese passenger vehicle brand in Bolivia for months on end. Across the Middle East and Africa, the EMZOOM claimed the title of Lebanon’s best-selling B-segment SUV, with triple-digit sales growth recorded in Côte d’Ivoire and Ethiopia. In Europe, the AION UT held its debut launch in Milan, with the brand entering the UK and Spanish markets one after another as it speeds up expansion into more European territories.
